The workshop was organized to provide an introduction to Integral Education and Free Progress system of Education as practiced in the Sri Aurobindo ashram Delhi Branch. The participants were 15 persons with background as teachers and having a common understanding about the importance of self observation and practice of meditation and silence. Since they were running their own centres for educating the young children in Russia at Kaliningrad and Moscow they were aware of the formal system and the need to plan according to the given curriculum. The activities in mirambika included talks, practical work and observation of the school in action . This enabled the teachers to understand the meaning of the practice of Integral education as one where the teacher and taught are one and the same and learning everywhere and always is the effort.
