Late Sri Deokinandan Jhunjhunwala is the father of Vivek Jhunjhunwala, an Ashramite at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi Branch. Sri D.N. Jhunjhunwala is the younger brother of Syt. Laxmi Niwas Jhunjhunwala.

Every year on the 14th of August a Program is organised by LNJ Bhilwara Group and Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi branch. The program was started by his elder brother, Laxmi Niwas, Jhunjhunwala, as DNJ Memorial Series.

A concept ballet choreographed by Smt. Sangeeta Sharma, titled “Rasanjali – The Cadence of Emotions”, was performed on his memorial.
