Late Sri Deokinandan Jhunjhunwala is the father of Vivek Jhunjhunwala, an Ashramite at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi Branch. Sri D.N. Jhunjhunwala is the younger brother of Syt. Laxmi Niwas Jhunjhunwala.

Every year on the 14th of August a Program is organised by LNJ Bhilwara Group and Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi branch. The program was started by his elder brother, Laxmi Niwas, Jhunjhunwala, as DNJ Memorial Series.

The program was graced by the presence of Swami Sarvalokananda, Secretary of the Shri Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi, as the Chief Guest.

The event began with an introductory address by Sri Rajendra Bagrodia, who spoke about the life and contributions of Sri Deokinandan Jhunjhunwala.

A special highlight of the program was the dance offering, “Vande Mataram – The Rashtra Mantra,” presented by Smt. Anjali Bagal and her team from Pune. The performance added a deeply inspiring and patriotic dimension to the occasion.

At the conclusion of the event, Swami Sarvalokananda presented books to the participants as a token of appreciation and encouragement.
